A water cooled load bank is an option to a traditional air cooled load bank. The device develops an electrical resistive load which in turn when applied to a power source  dissipates the power output. These devices include elements with Load circuit protection, lock outs as necessary, metering, control and accessories required for operation. A MEG water cooled load bank can be used as a tester for all types of power sources including cogeneration systems, standby generators, batteries and many more. They are suitable for use to cool media, closed looped chilled water systems, heat exchanger systems, and more. A MEG device is equipped with sensors that monitor pressure, temperature, flow loss, and coolant level. Protective Fuses are included.

Martin Energy Group builds and manufactures Water Cooled Load banks. These units allow for indoor installations in controlled environments whereas an outdoor unit will be exposed to other elements. They are relatively quiet and are maintenance free. Ideal installation locations are in cities, industrial areas, and office spaces. Where an otherwise outdoor air cooling unit would be visually unappealing or difficult to install due to noise or space restrictions, a MEG water cooled load bank may be the solution.
